Three Quick Retirement Facts

Below are three retirement facts we thought you would find interesting:

  1. Participants who consistently invested between 2010 and 2019 accumulated sizable 401(k) plan account balances. At the end of 2019, 33% had more than $200,000 in their 401(k) plan accounts at their current employers.1
  2. Three out of four participants want advice about how much they should be contributing to the plan to meet their retirement goals (up 10% from 2016), and seven in ten think this guidance should be coming from their employer (up 31% from 2016).2
  3. A recent survey revealed that 56% of participants say they would save more for retirement if they had an emergency savings fund set aside. Nearly half of participants say that when they feel confident about their short-term finances, it makes them feel more confident about their long-term finances.3

Whether you are looking to start or transfer an existing 401(k) plan or are exploring other retirement vehicles such as a SEP-IRA, Jemma Financial can help you get the most out of your employer-sponsored retirement plan. Jemma provides comprehensive solutions that fit your organization to not only attract and retain employees but also give employees an opportunity to save for retirement.

We look forward to the opportunity of sharing our thoughts on ways to help your business and employees get the most out of your company’s retirement plan. Let’s start the conversation.
